Title — You Are Not Alone In This Darkness: The Importance of Sharing Winter Dreamwork
Topic — There is an Indigenous habit of sharing dreams in winter. The Cayuga, for example, say that winter dreams unshared will make you crazy. This is because when our homeland is coldest and darkest, we dream the deepest. We dream for and with each other about the future. Winter dreams then, are not private property. Dreams from our deepest darkness belong to all. We don’t have to carry them alone.
Join Chris Reynolds for songs, stories, and strategies on how we can honor the dreams of the children, the elderly, adolescents, adults, elders, all persons. He will also speak about his experience of sharing dreams with others working for democracy on the planet in Scotland, Ireland, UK, Wales, and Canada.
Bio — F. Christopher Reynolds, M.Ed., is a singer, teacher and roving shaman. His mission is to sing, to teach, to heal the peace of dreaming onward. He does this through songs, chants, writings, ritual, concerts and workshops. He is a singer songwriter with 20 releases. He is the lead author on the only publications on depth psychology, soul, creativity, and giftedness. He is also published in organic creativity in the language classroom. Chris is the founder of No Man’s Folk. He is a co-founder of archetypal ecology. He assists in facilitation rituals for returning veterans with Warriors Journey Home.
