Title — What Would God Do?
Topic — Remember those Rubber bracelets we all wore in the 90’s WWJD? We thought it was so deep and pious to ask ourselves what would Jesus do? In any given situation. We based our answers on what we know about Jesus, Jesus was loving and healing and forgiving. He fed the poor and healed the sick, raised the dead and cared for the less fortunate. We all know what Jesus would do in any given situation. But what about God? What do we know about God? If we read all the same texts that give us insight into Jesus, we find that God is not always loving and forgiving. God is often wrathful, vengeful, and judgmental.
Jacquie will explore our human concepts of God as they show up in our lives
