Topic — Voting isn’t far from our thoughts these days. We’ve been examining our choices carefully for months! So much depends on it. No matter the results, wise spiritual teachers remind us of the most important choice. It isn’t what happens to us; it is how we choose to react. How can we develop the inner strength and resilience to choose how to respond from our deepest wisdom and strength? How do we open to possibility?
Bio — Rev. Elaine Strawn retired from UU pastoral ministry in 2019, after having served Wooster, Canton and Westfield congregations. She is temporarily serving as our Primary Contact with the Central East Region of the UUA.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking with her spouse and their Corgi, and playing with their two month old grandson.
